There are also many wonderful and award winning activities nearby, including the Wild Animal Park only minutes away, The Valley View Casino, which was voted as having the best buffet in San Diego (Readers Choice!), Lake Wohlford recreational park and the Lake Wohlford Café, Paintball Fields, Horseback Riding and Llama rides, Escondido Museums and shopping, Antique’s row, Harrah’s Rincon Casino, Winery tours, Devil’s Hell Hole regional park and hiking trails, Stone Alehouse Brewery gardens and tasting, Escondido Performing Arts Center, Welks Center Dinner Theater, and more.

For spiritual experiences, pay a visit to the Deer Park Buddhist community, or visit our neighbor, the men-only Self Realization Fellowship Ashram that offers a wonderful community lunch on Fridays at noon and has 40 acres of walking trails. There is also the Temple of Higher Consciousness nearby, offering a “Rockin’ Shabbat” Friday night experience with music and dancing.
